Telescoping Image Technique!

Hello,

So here is my 4th card for this month and for today :)

This is again from ICR Coasteride Septorials - using a technique called Telescoping images!

It is a very simple technique. I've used a green patterned paper for the panels. I then stamped the sentiment and the label border using mowed lawn distress ink. Fussy cut the label, added yellow glitter for the border and glossy accents on the sentiment to make it more glittery and be the focal point of the card :) Attached the layers and the sentiment using foam tape.

Happy Birthday Dad :)

Hello,

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday and this is the card I made for him :) A simple masculine card!

It is very simple to make, I just adhered blue checks patterned paper on to the base cs, added a little smaller printed vellum sheet, and on top of these layers, attached a die cut that is distressed with salty ocean DI. The pretty diecut was given as a gift by Konica from Craftyscrappers. I've stamped the sentiment using the same distress ink, and added drops of glossy accent for more interest. I've also attached a bigger clear cabochon on the bottom left.

Party Cake

Hello,

Second card for this month, it is using a technique I've always wanted to try, but never did bcs of my laziness :P So this one is using the Emboss Resist and Ink Smooching technique

One of the weeks of ICR Septorials had this tutorial and I didn't want to miss it this time. Here is my card.

For the background, I've used the border stamp from My Mind's Eye - Lost and Found stampset. I stamped them repeatedly using Versamark ink onto a watercolor paper and embossed using Rangers White embossing powder. I then used different colored distress inks and smooshed them onto the panel. The panel is then mounted on to textured pink cs.

The cake and sentiment are from Mudra - Let's Party stampset. I just love this set! I stamped them using Versafine Onyx Black ink, colored the cake using distress inks and Fuji transparent folios. I've fussy cut the cake and sentiment. Added glossy accents on the cake and on the sentiment to make it more shiny. Adhered the cake and sentiment onto the panel using foam tape.

Humming Bird!

Hello,

After a break of one month to be exact, I'm back with 4 cards :) So here is the first one!

I've used the Humming Birds stampset from Mudra for this card. This stampset is designed by Sucheta and I won this on her blog's Friendship week giveaway :)

I stamped the images and sentiment onto watercolor paper using Versamark Onyx Black. I've then colored the leaves and flowers using Fuji transparent folios. The humming bird is colored using distress inks. I've used glossy accents for dew drops effect. Mounted the panel onto white cs with green paper base, and added a few matching sequins for more interest.

Some more detailed pics follow.

Do you see the effect of dew drops on the leaves and flowers? :)

Crisp and perfect sentiment from Mudra!
